Write Squad Community

Are you looking for a writing group that offers something special?

Would you like to be part of a community of likeminded writers you can
connect, learn, and grow with?

Then the Write Squad Community is for you.

In 2022 I began hosting live writing sessions on Instagram called ‘Write Squad’.

Write Squad has grown to become a wonderful, supportive community to help writers commit to getting words on the page and connect writers at all stages of their careers.

My Write Squad Community is an extension of this and is a place for writers to come together to connect, learn and grow. It’s where writers become friends.

The Write Squad Community is currently hosted between Substack and Instagram. The Substack subscription is a free bi-weekly newsletter offering tips, information and advice on all things writing and publishing. We also hold regular zoom writing sessions and provide learning opportunities with guest author zoom sessions throughout the year. We use Instagram as our ‘chat’ home where we connect and engage with each other on a daily basis. This is where the friendships are made and strengthened.

The best thing is, it’s all free!

To be a part of this wonderful group of writers and authors all you have to do is sign up here on Substack and follow me on Instagram. And don’t forget to use the hashtag #writesquadcommunity when posting on Insta ;)

Write Squad Community

WSC is like a safe haven where I can make space to write whilst having the support of other writers who all champion one another.
Jodi’s guidance and expertise keeps us on track and the team environment she has created keeps me accountable.
I’m able to ask questions about all facets of writing/publishing and am constantly learning.
It’s an invaluable community that I feel lucky to be part of.
— Casey Nott, author of Forgotten
Write Squad Community is like having a personal cheer squad, a team of advisors, and a brilliant mentor all at once. Jodi’s knowledge and enthusiasm make this space creative, productive, friendly, and fun. I love writing ‘with’ the squaddies. Having somewhere to ask questions, get advice, and talk about the frustrations and the wins is invaluable.
